I want to point out the incredible difference we are making here in the Nevada VFW Auxiliary. It is on us to make the best version of the Auxiliary, and I’m pleased to say we have the right people in place and a clear, disciplined vision for a stronger auxiliary — one that better serves our members and restores purpose to everything we do. It starts with Schools of Instruction like this one.
I know that we have extremely busy lives and that we do so much to help our auxiliaries, posts and communities. We, the department leadership, are taking the time to put this together for our leaders, to support and to give clarity, instruction and alignment to the programs and procedures we have when working in our communities. Taking time here should also help us become more efficient and more productive, so that there is value in the time given.
There are two (2) options for you to attend. 1) Join us in person in Tonopah for the event, where we can converse, and share time together as an auxiliary. Live attendance is always preferred, barring the ability to attend in person, the next option is 2) to join us via Zoom. We encourage you to come together and watch as a team, this could be in your posts, a living room, a library.
It is possible to cast the event to a monitor that gives a bigger display. If you need help with that, let us know prior to the day of the event.
Our plan is to put this on the website, for a 3rd option if you can't join us live, and for future reference for your auxiliaries.

Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers are invited in this email. Please forward to your members if you would like them to attend. Please check to make sure your Secretaries and Treasurers have gotten this email.
Prior to arrival, we will send out a rough agenda. We would like to offer you and your members a chance to ask questions in advance, please submit any questions in advance to this email no later than one day prior to the meeting (Saturday). This will help us understand what you might need our focus for. Try to send one email so that no questions are missed.
If you are attending please arrive 15 to 30 minutes to check in. Line Officers please be 30-40 minutes early to help set up the room.
Please silence all cell devices to maximize our time together.

Zoom attendees, please mute yourself before joining to keep noise to a minimum.
Please remember that guests are welcome and may listen, they may not participate or be disruptive. It is best to leave pets at home.
Questions are allowed but presidents will present questions from their officers and members to facilitate brevity and to keep our schedule flowing smoothly.
Lunch will be a half hour. Thanks to Cindy and Don, those present will have Subway. Those attending must RSVP by Friday to have lunch ordered. The cost is $15.00 per person, we will have water on hand. If you are with your auxiliary, plan your lunch with the time in mind.
We will need one volunteer to monitor Zoom on the day of the meeting and another for check in and attendance counts.
